Queer theory for lichens suggests that we have never been individuals, directly challenging the dis-ease of loneliness which perpetuates our current western culture. Each page in this calendar is a spell offering for connection as we exist in these challenging times. 90% of our cells owe their genomes to bacteria, grounding the idea that we are never alone.
