The 2026 phantasmagoric places wall calendar features 12 months of digital collage artworks inspired by the changing seasons as mirrored in the more-than-human of the high desert. A compilation of original photographs, illustrations, and open-source imagery.
"Phantasmagoric" is a word I recently discovered on the back of a children’s book I often read to my kiddo… it describes something that is fantastic, dreamlike, our imaginative. The collages depicted within this calendar are unrealistic scenes rooted in reality, paired with text to share knowledge of the local landscape with the viewer.
While creating this calendar at times felt laborious due to the time-constraints of my role as a new parent many folks asked for another calendar, so here you go. Thank you for asking & inspiring me to continue creating!
