Interspecies Relations was a collaborative piece in the Land Arts of the American West final group exhibition. As a participating visitor artist in the Land Arts semester-long program Call created this piece as a synthesis of learning. The work engaged visitors into a collaborate weaving throughout the duration of the gallery opening, inviting others into conversations related to more-than-human relations existing in the nearby Bosque ecosystem. The willow, cottonwood, and cattail grass became creators in the work.

After the exhibition Call invited community members into an act of regeneration by replanting the willow into the Bosque ecosystem from which it was harvested.

This project was generously funded by the Lannon Foundation.
