Poudre Communion

2013

GNU Gallery, Fort Collins, CO

  • solo thesis exhibition

  • chromogenic prints

  • 20 x 24”

This body of work was created as Call’s BFA thesis exhibition. Poudre Communion was a year long study in the photographic medium building kinship with the Cache la Poudre river. With six chosen spots, Call returned throughout various seasons to witness the changing light and weather patterns. The following images were created with a 6 x 7 medium format camera and then printed in a chromogenic darkroom.

The images are invitations to slow down and witness nuanced change.
